For two years I have been tutor on International Research School in Russia. It is a summer school where high school students from around the world gather together for several days to participate in express projects in natural sciences and humanities under the guidance and supervision of young scientists from Russia and abroad. For me it has been amazing experience and I feel very privileged to be part of it. But one thing was missing there the whole time- a delegation of students from my country- Croatia. Croatia has many gifted, smart and enthusiastic students, but they often do not have chance to participate in such events due to finances.
This year we want to make a Croatian team of talented high school students interested in science and new knowledge, asking questions and looking for answers, open to communication with people with different cultural backgrounds. In order to participate we must register and pay the participation fee. Participation fee is 650 € per person. It covers accommodation, catering, transport, tours from June 23 to July 3, 2020 (during this International Research School). We ask for your help with funding these fees and additional costs (such as visa) for few Croatian students. .
