12 Months, 12 Charities, NO Alcohol!

I want to do something for the charities that are close to the hearts of the people I care about.

I was never first pick for gym at school, and so running a marathon is not an option.

Instead, I want to challenge myself to go without alcohol for a WHOLE year to raise money for 12 amazing charities - one for every month that I am sober.

I realised that in 2014, there is an occasion each month that I would usually drink alcohol to celebrate. There are a lot of people out there not as lucky as I who don't have reasons to celebrate and so I would like to spend this year helping a selection of charities for causes that have impacted my friends and family.

The charities I will be raising money for are:

1. The PSP Association
2. Lymphoma Association
3. The National Brain Appeal
4. RSPCA
5. Orang-utan Foundation
6. WWF
7. Ashgate Hospice
8. Macmillan Nurses
9. Make A Wish Foundation
10. Let us create Cambodia
11. WaterAid
12. Crisis Appeal

Throughout the year I will be collecting donations for these amazing charities and at the end of the year, I will split the total amounts raised by 12 and will donate evenly across all of the charities named above.

I would like to raise some serious money for these great causes and so if you could donate generiously that would be fantastic, and please share with your friends and family.
