This is a group of volunteers and people that have come together to do the last 115 km of the Camino di Santiago from Sarria to Santiago to support The Brown's Camino Challenge by the SiGMA Foundation and aid in raising funds for children in Ethiopia.
''Most of these children have nothing. They depend on us for subsistence, without this their future would be very, very bleak. Consider for a second in time that it could easily have been you or I instead of that child. Even worse, that child could be your child. Please be with us... just like the people in this article have shown empathy and compassion then so can you? This could be your moment to shine, to really show solidarity with those that are deserving of it. To express kindness with some of the underprivileged children in this world''
Keith Marshall, Chief Philanthropy Officer at SiGMA foundation
As a member and participant of this wonderful initiative I thus humbly ask for your small donations towards the cause. Each participant is entrusted to achieve donations. These proceeds will go towards helping children who have less than nothing and try and achieve some form of education, health care, and shelter for the betterment of this delicate life we are entrusted with.
Do your part and DONATE if you would like to help! Even the smallest donation can save a life today!
This is a great program for volunteers who want to experience the wonders of Spain through amazing treks. Enjoy a variety of landscapes while traveling across the country: from coastal Camino routes to vineyards, mountains, and tiny hamlets!
This challenge entails a week-long walk through the Spanish forests and farmlands.
Funds collected over 12 months in anticipation of the event, will be invested in the aid of children in Ethiopia and this will help us build a kindergarten for them.
