Campaign Story
I am raising money to support the fantastic group Bristol Hunt Saboteurs. This dedicated group have taken on the challenge of protecting wildlife - Foxes, Hares, Pheasants and Stags from the evil hunting that is STILL happening despite a supposed ban. The group also protect Badgers during the government's cruel Culls.
Their vital work involves going out week after week and travelling long distances. This involves huge fuel costs and I hope, with your help, to raise enough to help them in their valuable work.
On the 18th June I will be taking part in the Lacock 10K. For some a 10km (6.2 mile) race is not a huge challenge, but for me it will be a great achievement. Two years ago I completed a 10km race for another charity. The training triggered an underlying knee problem and I have struggled ever since to run long distances. It is only now after physio sessions and training that I feel I am able to try again.

More Training!
Update posted by C Ryan at 12:10 pmMore 10k training for me today - it is a gorgeous day (no puddles!) and I went quite far without realising it. A bit too far as my knee is hurting again, so it's back to the physio... However I'm determined to run a good time for Bristol Hunt Sabs. . . . .

god bless you sabs i am behind your work all the way trying to stop this barbaric act against these defenceless animals i totally support you 1 million per cent i will not be voting conservative either that bitch will lift the ban i dint trust her one bit good luck with your work i wish i could help you but i am disabled before i was disabled due to a stroke years ago i protested at coventry airport against the live exports of animals i also protested at dover so i wish you all the luck in the world
