Campaign Story
Our son Drew Gates, a 15 year old pupil at Westville Boys High in Durban is an avid motorbike rider. He began competing in 2018 regionally in the KZNRRC championship in the 150cc and 300cc classes respectively. His love of motorbikes began as a youngster on a plastic pushbike. Wherever we went the plastic bike went with. At the beginning of this year he came up with the idea to give other less fortunate children the same fun and passion he had and started the initiative to collect plastic push bikes to donate to children’s villages and homes in one of our local valleys (Inanda ). He has set a target of 100 bikes. We are very excited that Rand Plastics has offered us a fantastic price of just under R100 for a bike for this initiative. We are asking for people to please help him achieve his target. We will use all funds raised to purchase these bikes.
