Build a shelter by 3 pounds

An animal rescue foundation dared to dream in Hungary: on more than two hectares of land where they are willing to create an up-to-date animal welfare centre, where they would help to reduce the amount of the veterinary euthanasia, by providing homes to hundreds of more animals, and also could provide the amount of animal welfare activities expected by the EU and Western-Europe.

With this goal they initiated a donation called: “Lets Build a Shelter Out of 100 forints” which has found a meaningful amount of support, but to achieve the wanted funds it is still far from coming to life…

That’s what this campaign has been created for, to support the Anikó Állatmentő Alapítvány with the incoming donations.

The appeal’s translation with smaller changes:

“What do you do? You raise the phone and call, because you cannot bring them home, or could you? You call the shelter but their capacity is full! You would do everything that you possibly could to have someone take them in, but no one can help? Do you feel helpless?

Now you have the chance to do something!
We would build a new shelter for dogs in similar situation!
300.000 people’s 100 Ft (£0.24) is all we need for it….

Our purpose is to create a shelter that would change the meaning of animal shelters, and to make an agreement with the local councils and putting their money into vaccinating the animals and getting them necessary treatments while fighting mass pet euthanasia.
As of right now the purchased property is empty. It is up to you what we can make of it. We could save many precious lives.

We created a sub-account for this purpose, where we collect the devoted money for the construction. We do not touch the money until the construction starts. Before the opening, we will print the list of the supporters out, and put them in a time capsule, and by a voting, we will decide for how many years.
