A peso means a lot to us. We are seeking help for my 76-year-old mother who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease who requires urgent hospital admission in an attempt to save the remaining functions of her kidneys. She is also a diabetic with a history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome and on and off pneumonia. Recent x-ray showed traces of pneumonia and because of this, admitting her as a regular patient in the ward would be impossible due to some protocol even though she was COVID-free. Her teatment was delayed as we do not have the ability to pay for the isolation room, the PPEs, etc. She needs to start treatment as soon as possible as her blood tests came back with high lab values, needing urgent treatment.
