#Together100 & Chorleywood4Refugees have been going for over a year now, helping where we can to make a small difference to Refugees in Syria, Lebananon, Greece, Lesvos, Samos, Iraq, France & here in the UK.

We've collected literally tonnes of brilliant clothing aid, but amongst it we get very few socks. Right now the cold that we feel here in the UK is just as present elsewhere in Europe and we'd like to provide some warmth for frozen feet that must be perishing in these temperatures.

We are delighted to have found THERMAL SOCKS sold by AGE UK HERTFORDSHIRE at £2.00 for 3 pairs and have already put 50% deposit on 600 pairs of socks. Now we'd like to raise the funds for the rest and maybe a few more :)

We LOVE the fact that we are supporting AGE UK and see this as a 'Home AND Away Project' by purchasing through them.

Thank you for dropping by.

What a wonderful week. You've donated nearly £2000 and we have already taken delivery of 1500 pairs of thermal socks with 900 pairs going straight to LESVOS. We want to thank everyone who has donated, especially the man off the street who popped into AGEUK and donated £300! We have. . . . .

  • We are very pleased to support this programme that generates income for a UK-based Charity by purchasing items that are so badly-needed by Refugees trying to survive in freezing winter temperatures
