Year of Jubilee

Recently, I did a fundraiser for a single mother of five who was living in credit card debt due to her conversion to Christ out of Islam (she was cut off from all her Muslim family's support). Since then, God has provided for her and brought her into a safe place through your prayers and help. My prayer is for others I know who are coming to Christ out of following the system of this world but are still slaves to debt.

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." Luke 4:18-19

My idea for this comes largely from a teaching I heard by Tim Bence:

He suggests believers can create a "building fund" to pay off the debts, not of a physical church building, but of the spiritual building - the believers (1 Peter 2:5). One of the ways I see this happening is by offering people interest free loans.
