Hong Kong Good Nurse is Getting Sick Now! Please Helps to Save Her Life!

Hi, everyone,

My sister Miriam, 49, was diagnosed with Leukaemia (AML-M5b) since February 2020. She survived from subarachnoid haemorrhage (brain bleeding) at first but she failed the following two Targeted Therapy and the recent chemotherapy which brought her much suffering. The doctor said that there are only two more chemo medicine left for her illness. One is free of charge and the other costs $300000. I am now sincerely asking your help to support Miriam financially, so that the blast cell can be cleared for transplantation. I have suitable bone morrow for her transplantation but nothing can be done if the blast cell index would not go down by effective chemo medicine.

Miriam is single, living with and taking care of her parents who are over 80. From the day she started working in the hospital at 18, she has been responsible for every of the family’s needs. In most of her life, she just wants to make her patients comfortable. This is the way she serves the city and the family she loves.

As Miriam’s youngest brother, I need your help to save my sister’s life because this amount is beyond our abilities. 我的姐姐是一名護士，今年49歲，畢業後就投身醫護界，服務香港市民20多年。但不幸地2020年2月因腦出血入院，瘀血清除的同時被確診患上了急性白血病（AML-M5B)。

2月至今，她已進行了多次標靶藥和化療療程，自身乃至全家積蓄，所有能申請的社會基金也用盡，無奈控制不住病情，目前已進入最緊急狀態。

醫院告知需要自購一款30萬的藥物Clofarabine去控制，待指數正常後進行骨髓移植。我家姐已經有弟弟適合的骨髓，如今次的藥物能讓身體指數達致可以移植的水平，這便是最後的生機！在這兒希望籌集一部份資金，來燃點我姐姐生的希望。
