Support Cultural Association of Karia install the first defibrillator !

We all, as members of the administrative council of the Cultural Association of Karia Argous, Greece, have decided to adress you, the friends of Karia to raise fund for installing the first defibrillator in Karia !

Karia is an alive and kicking community with residents of all ages and its visitors increase every year. We would like the visitors and the residents to feel safe and the presence of such a precious device gives life opportunities till the prehospital care professionals arrive.

Especially in December, when we organize the 6th Artemisio Mountain Running (https://artemisiomr.gr/el/) with over 700 athletes and 100 volunteers, we owe to be ready, as during the summer, when the visitors are many, as well.

To be ready, we have already trained the first 50 first aid responders who can operate the device.

You can support our effort by donating for the supply of this device, which will be set up in an open and widely accessible venue in our community.
