Soundtrack of Memories - Short Film

He was having the sweetest dream. Blurry images from when he was young and his parents were alive. An old song starts to play in the distance, giving a clearer shape to the figures of his parents.

However, he’s not dreaming. He’s awake. And the music is playing inside his head… K. is 40 years old, lives alone. This song is his only chance to remember his parents. As time goes by, K. is losing himself more and more in his memories, gradually putting his life aside.

Despite the harsh conditions that the world’s going through, we, as film students, are staying creative, doing what we know and love, making films!

For some time now, we’ve been trying to get our short film, “Soundtrack of Memories”, off the ground, but we’ve met various obstacles.

The screenplay is based on the short story of the same name by Alexis Stamatis, from his short story collection “Stories About Lonely People”

We follow our lonely protagonist, who is starting to remember his parents through music... We travel with him to the late 60s, as long-lost memories come to the surface.

The making of a film may seem simple and easy, it is, however, a complex process and most of all, a costly one!

To be realized in the best possible way and be able to travel the future festivals, the films needs financial support.
