Tara’s World Champs campaign

I have been lucky enough to be selected for the Australian Floorball Team for the 2015 Womens World Floorball Championships to be help in Finland. This WFC will be my 5th championships, having represented Australia in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and now 2015.

You may ask...What is Floorball? Floorball is a type of indoor floor hockey and is commonly described as a cross between indoor hockey and ice hockey, yet it blends the greatest elements of ice hockey with features of soccer and basketball. Although it is quite popular in most European countries, it is still a relatively new sport to Australia. Unfortunately since Floorball is not commonly known about in Australia, all trips are SELF-FUNDED by the selected players. The cost of such a trip is about $5000-$6000 per player, not including spending money!

The contributions that you makes will go directly towards national team costs, primarily airfares, accommodation and training facility hire. To try and reduce this individual cost, I am dedicated to fundraising as much as possible. This is where I need your help...
