Brody is a fun loving, loveable and very social 24 year old!

Brody is now in ICU in Hamilton General Hospital. On Aug 26, 2015 he was rushed to Grand River Hospital with what seemed like a stroke or an aneurysm. He was transferred to Hamilton where he underwent surgery to stop the bleeding in his brain. As of today (Aug 30) he is still unconscious, breathing with the help of a ventilator and paralyzed on the right side of his body. He has developed pneumonia and is currently being treated for that as well. After a lot of tests and scans the doctors have ruled out a stroke, aneurysm or AV Malformation. Until the medical team discovers what caused the brain hemorrhage there is no clear prognosis. However, what we do know at this point is that Brody has a long difficult battle ahead of him.

The outpouring of love and concern for Brody has been overwhelming! He is so lucky to have so many well-meaning and caring friends! The family appreciates all your prayers and well wishes. Keep praying and sending good vibes his way.

Brody's family have been at his side constantly since Aug 26, 2015. He is going to need their love and support so much in the coming weeks and months. I would like to help ease the financial burden of some of the extra expenses that arise out of a medical crisis such as this. They need to focus all of their attention on Brody and his recovery without having to worry about finances.

Please donate if you can! I will continue to post updates on his condition.

Please keep praying for Brody and supporting his family as they go through this difficult time.

WE LOVE you Brody!

Thank YOU so much!

  • Always thinking of you Brody. I can't put into words how sorry I am that this has happened to you of all people. From the instant we met, you were a good time and full of smiles. I can't wait to see that smile again soon! I know you are working hard at recovering, and I hope you know I'm here every step of the way. Anything you need, I'm here. ? Miss you and the pup!

Sept 5, 2015Brody today had another calm day, he was pretty sedated most of the day. However, did good with all commands the nurse had asked him throughout the day. If all goes well through the night and tomorrow morning. Brody will hopefully be getting him breathing tube out sometime

Sept 4, 2015Today started off pretty calm. Brody was awake for awhile and was pretty calm for the most part. He got a little more restless so the nurses gave him a bit more sedation to calm him down, and let him sleep for a bit. As we were saying. . . . .

  • I was so saddened to hear of your struggles Brody. You are, however, a very resilient and strong young man and these qualities will certainly aid in your road to recovery. You have the support of people who love you and a strong family bond that is, and will be, priceless in your recovery as well. I'm praying for you Brody and for your family. Hope to see you soon. Love, Mrs. Fee xoxox

  • Thanking Brittany for the encouraging updates. Hopefully when Brody is moved to Kitchener in the next week or so, things will be a little easier for you all, at least logistically. Wish I lived closer to be of more help though. Keeping you all in my thoughts and sending out best karma to Brody for continued progress. Take care of each other.
