Campaign Story
In August 2014, I will be recording Vol. 2 of the complete Kenneth Leighton organ works, for the world-leading digital label Resonus Classics; Vol. 1 was recorded last Autumn in St Giles Edinburgh and is due for release later this year. We've been enormously fortunate to get access to the Klais organ of Symphony Hall, Birmingham as the venue for the next instalment, and this campaign will, it is hoped, enable us to cover the costs - £2500 - of using this extraordinary venue for the next stage of recordings. When the project is complete, it will consitute the only complete recording of Leighton's organ works, and will include works never previously recorded. Any surplus funds will defray the costs of the third recording in the series.
