We are getting Married

Our History:

Ruben and I met in early 2010, while working for Freeport McMoran Copper and Gold in Morenci, Arizona.  Strangely enough, I was determined to never date, much less marry, a Miner.  But he was different.  Different from anyone I have ever known.  He was from the wrong side of the tracks and I was from the right side.  He thought I was high maintenance.  I thought he was a thug.  We were both wrong.  Through the ups, and the downs, we have stuck it out, and although we are an oddly suited couple, we compliment eachother perfectly. 

Between the two of us we have four children, Ruben has 3 from his previous marriage and I have 1, from mine.  We are a ragtag group, each with different interests and goals, but together we are a family. 

The Wedding:

After a year of planning, during which time, we have moved, therefore, we have had to basically start the process of planning our wedding all over again, we are in the final month of our wedding preparations, only to find out we are going to fall short of funds. We have the DJ and Cake left to pay for andit looks like we will not have enough pennies left to scrape totether to pay for them.   

As as you all know, Ruben and I have been together for a number of years.  This means we have His, Mine and Ours. We lack nothing for our home. Therefore we ask that if your had planned on buying us gifts, we'd rather have you contribute to our wedding fund. 

We are not asking to provide for our honeymoon, which we will put off until we can better afford it, just to help us make our special day spectacular!
