Who We Are

We are eight hardworking youth violinists (ages 5 to 14) chosen to participate in an unforgettable violin concert tour of Germany this July. We study violin with Ms. Sue Mann in California, and are part of a larger nonprofit group called Magical Strings West. We'll tour Germany with the internationally acclaimed violin group The Magical Strings of Youth, directed by Mrs. Betty Haag-Kunhke of Chicago. Mrs. Haag has guided our California group for over a decade, and our teacher was Mrs. Haag's student many years ago.

About Magical Strings of Youth

Over the past 40 years, The Magical Strings of Youth have traveled the globe bringing the highest caliber of violin musicianship to audiences in Austria, Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Portugal, Prague, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and several other countries. Our upcoming Germany trip is very special, as it has been announced as Mrs. Haag's last international concert tour.

Tax-Deductible Fundraiser Donations

We are currently fundraising to assist with travel costs to Germany. We hope you will help us to take part in the musical experience of a liftetime! Along with launching this crowdfunding appeal, we have raised money by providing streetside music for donations and by playing private house concerts.

Magical Strings West is a 501(c)(3) recognized public charity (ID# 80-0734929). This trip will help us to continue our mission of providing free concerts to the public. Donations are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations concerning charitable donations. Please consult your tax professional for details.

We welcome donations of any amount. All funds will be equally distributed among our group of eight.

Thank you for your support!
