Trip to London for Daughter’s Surgery

Hello -- I am a substitute teacher in Seattle, living on a limited income. My daughter Erin, 41, is having complex spine surgery in London in August (2014) and I want to be there for her. She has a cracked vertebrae (L5), half of which has shifted out of place and is pressing on the nerves and causing her a lot of pain. The surgery will correct the problem and relieve the pain. She has an excellent spine surgeon in London who has agreed to do the surgery. The recovery period is expected to be two to three weeks and I want to be there to assist her during this difficult time. I will probably need around $3000 total -- for airfare (economy), lodging (local B&B or room near hospital, and minimal incidental expenses & food, for approximately three weeks.
