Treatment Expenses

    Meet Madeline Hendrickson. She's a mother of three who has lived a normal, happy life. Earlier this spring, Madeline's life changed when she noticed a lump in her right breast. At only 48 years old, Madeline was diagnosed with stage two grade two invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She was approved for health insurance prior to her diagnosis on May 2nd. However, medical records stating the lump was there three months prior to her visit to the doctor, the insurance company considered her breast cancer to be a prexisting condition. On May 23rd a lumpectomy was performed and ten lymph nodes were removed. The Doctors then ran tests on the tissue around the tumor and determined that cancer still remained and additional surgery/treatment is needed.      At this point, the cost of the previous surgery and the cost of the upcoming surgery in August is not covered by her insurance. The bills that have been acrued thus far are $8,500 and the upcoming surgery is estimated at $15,000. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for Madeline and her family. The financial burden is heavy. Madeline and her family are trusting in the Lord to provide her needs. Any contribution that you could make would be greatly appreciated. Please remember her in prayer.
