Tough Mudder 2014 for Ellie-Mae and Caleb Brownnutt

Looking to raise £3000 at least to help a great cause.

My girlfriends manager, Duncan, has got two wonderful kids...Ellie Mae (5) and Caleb (3). Over the last 12 months or so, both Ellie mae and Caleb have been having fits. Just before christmas, they were diagnosed as suffering with Late Infantile Battens Disease; a degenerative and debilatating disease that attacks the brain causing it to 'shrink' and resulting in regression. It effects speech, vocabulary, mobility and vision will result in an early death (ordinarily in their early teen years).
Ellie-mae started school last september and has recently started to lose the ability to speak with her vocabulary worsening. A wheelchair has also been given to her and she is starting to show signs of visual problems. Caleb is a year behind his sister and will start to follow the same path.

The cause is very close to my heart having had a cousin who died with the same disease.

I saw at first glance how serious this illness is and the damaging effects it has and where every day for them where they can walk, talk and just basically interact with the outside world is a bonus. As so, close friends are organising to raise as much money as possible to help fund a once in a lifetime opportunity for Duncan to afford to take them to Disneyworld, Florida.
