My wife Tami has been teaching for over 14 years. She loves it, in fact I would say she was born to do it. She teaches a 3/4 day kindergarten class with roughly 40 students in it each year. The problem is, all the work she puts in, all the hours (about 60 a week) amount to half of what I get paid to do my job. The only way Tami can make more money is if she gets her masters plus an additional 36 credits. If she can do that her salary will double and we can get out of debt a whole heck of a lot faster. It costs $18k for her to get her Masters in Education through Northwest Christian University. Now, my wife might be shy but I'm definately not. All I'm asking is you forgo the Dutch Bros for 1 week, or quit smoking, or take a sandwich for lunch and help one of the many teachers who are educating our future to further her education and finally start getting paid what she is worth.
