Stephen J. "Steve-O" Dillman, 22, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 27, 1990 in Portland, Maine, he was the son of Christopher and Michelle Dillman. Stephen loved the beach and all things outdoors. A graduate of Salem High School, he later excelled as a Pizza Chef for Papa John's Pizza. Stephen was a very social and beloved man and had a huge following of friends and family who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, April Kakalis; brother, Brian Christopher Dillman; grandparents, Larry and Brenda Crowley, John H. O'Connell, and Edward and Judith Dillman; uncles, Scott and Brian Dillman and John O'Connell; aunts, Becca Dillman and Beth Cody; and a nephew, James Lee Poljacik.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Sidney M. Oman Cancer Center, and Home Care Hospice for their care and treatment.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Stars for Steveo.
