The inglorious 12th August marks the start of the grouse shooting season, when thousands of birds are set to be blasted out of the sky for the entertainment of thugs. On that date I will undertake a 10 mile sponsored walk across Ilkley's grouse moors - right in the heart of England's grouse shooting region. This is to raise much needed funds for protesters to directly intervene in the shoots across this season and save lives.
My aim is to raise £400. Will you help me raise the funds to save lives and stop the shoots? All money raised is for Ban Bloodsports on Ilkley Moor, who take lawful direct action to intervene in shoots and pressure land owners Bradford Council.
Thank you for your kind support!

This is not sport. Sneaking up on an opponent with a gun, when they are unarmed and aren't aware of the game? That's not sport, that's murder. This barbaric practice should have died out long ago! How anyone can do this and justify it in modern society is beyond me.
