About This Project
All funds collected towards this project will be used to purchase and install gave markers for Gertrude Adelaide Wiles Slangerup (Omaha, NE) and Walter Sofus & Dorothy Davis Witter Slangerup (Benicia, CA), who currently are buried in unmarked plots.
The goal is to purchase nice, yet inexpensive and basic, flat grave markers. Family will collaborate on the design and materials. It is estimated that each marker will cost between $400 - $900, depending on the vendor. However, the official funding goal is being set low.
Left over funds, if any, can be used towards additional grave markers for other ancestors, or applied towards a family-approved worthwhile cause.
