Singing For Smiles

Mission Statement:

"Our goal is to bring smiles to the faces of the elderly and those less fortunate than us. By combining our talents with community service, we are encouraging the growth of our members in the community as individuals."

Our Needs:

As a small, developing, student-run organization, we have limited access to resources; we are able to give our talent, passion and our love, but we are in need of funding for supplies. With your help we will purchase portable music and sound equipment that will enhance our performance in locations where no such equipment is available. We will use a portion of the funds in order to prepare uniforms for a growing team, and to buy goodies for holiday gift baskets and more. 

Who Are We Helping?

"Singing For Smiles" was founded by high-school student, Dalit Merenfeld, in 2013 and has blossomed through the efforts of the organization's members. This beautiful organization brings love and passion into serving the community. Singing For Smiles has become a means through which our members have learned to integrate all the generations of the community by using the universal language of music. We have been able to reach out to different people in order to further-enrich the fluidity between generations within the community and our society. With every smile that comes from our audience, we are feeding our souls with the greatest gift one can recieve. We'd like to create an extensive awareness of the concept that "giving is receiving" by growing our organization, that is not only beneficial to those whom we serve, but those who serve as well.
