Campaign Story
These accident survivors need your help! Last month, John & Theo Parga were coming home from a camping trip on their motorcycle, when a young motorist did not see their motorcycle and turned in front of them. Without time to react, John & Theo hit the car head on. Rushed to seperate hospitals (Theo to Children's Hospital and John to Swedish Medical Hospital), Theo and John would not see each other again for a week.
Theo had broken his femur along with bruised knees and ankles. John suffered from an open book fracture of his pelvis, a broken disk in his back, and numerous other injuries to his pelvic region and legs. After surgeries and time in the hospital, they are finally home with crutches and walkers in tow. Limited to one room of the house, John will be facing a long recovery process and must wear a back brace when walking. Theo has been able to start the school year as a home-school student working mainly from his computer. Both have limited mobility but high spirits.
Please help our family continue to pay the mortgage and utilities, and buy groceries. Before the accident, John was the sole breadwinner. Since the injuries have made it impossible to work, the family is facing no income and has been warned they may not see help from insurance for years.
Anything helps, please keep us in your prayers.
THANK YOU from the Parga Family
