Olympic Dream

Hello,

my name is Ioan and I am a Romanian alpine ski racer.  I am 22 years old and I started skiing when I was 7. 

I had a succesful junior career: among other medals, I won the Junior National Championships 5 times and participated in the Junior World Championships 2010, in France. Unfortunately, I was forced to quit skiing for personal reasons 2 years ago. In the meantime, I started attending university but I was never fulfilled with myself and realised that I was missing skiing too much.  Finally, I decided to resume my racing career regardless of all the obstacles standing between me and my dream. 

This is the reason why I am asking for your help in order to receive financial support. Alpine skiing is a very expensive sport and I cannot afford to cover all the expenses necessary to achieve my short-term goals. My main objectives are: place top 50 at the Winter Olympic Games 2014 (Sochi, Russia), place top 40 at the World Championships 2015 (Vail/Beaver Creek, USA), place top 30 at the World Championships 2017 (St Moritz, SUI), place top 20 at the Winter Olympic Games 2018 (South Korea).
