Amy's transplant will require a significant financial outlay, both near term and long term. There will be short term hospital stays before transplant, and the actual transplant operation itself. There will be a series of follow up visits to the transplant clinic in the weeks and months following her transplant. Finally, she will be on a series of medications for the remainder of her life.

As many of you know, she has been a teacher and is now a nurse. These occupations have allowed her to give to the communities in which she has lived. Now she needs the support of those same communities.
