Campaign Story
This page is in memory of my beautiful (almost blind and epileptic, non releaseable) Squirrel "Lilac"(Squiggs) she died in her sleep on 12/09/14 while with me helping save badger's lives out on patrol with me. I hope that those of you who knew her and felt her love will help share this fundraiser and help me reach my goal.
I plan to use the fund to buy some much needed night vision goggles, boxes of vegan energy fuel bars for people who live at Camp Badger and go out on patrols, some camp beds (already bought these and are now in use at camp badger), seats (already bought these and they are in use at camp badger,) maps, torches and any much needed pieces for Camp Badger and also £80 of petrol to get to and from Camp badger for my almost 3 hour journey x2 (and £40 more for travel to and from sett areas in the zone while I am there) as I plan to be there as often as I can over the next three weeks and I can't do it without your kind help.
We need more people on the ground so if you can't be there then please donate so together we can help our beautiful badgers.
I will split the fundraiser equipment with the amazing people at Camp badger fighting the cull, as Squiggs died on watch with the Sabs and I was given amazing love and support from them and my dear friends at Camp badger where Lil' Squiggs is now buried.
Squiggles was welcomed warmly by amazing big hearted people at Camp...Her last day was full of love, care and fun. I am sure there must have been no happier place on earth for her to go although she has left a big hole where my heart used to be I will always miss her forever and ever and ever and a day..

Update posted by Chrissy Fundraising for Somerset Camp badgers at 08:52 amHi and thank you to all backers who have helped me so far...last few hours and so far I have spent £140 on my last trip to the zone on fuel £80 and £60 on food and equipment for camp. So far this next journey I have the remainder but. . . . .
