Help Support Ivry’s Chess Fund

Our ten year old son, Ivry Sasson, is making his mark in the world of chess. He has been playing chess since he was four and many great chess players have remarked that Ivry has a great future in the game. He's won 14 ribbons and 4 trophies, almost all for 1st place. He is now ranked according to the United States Chess Federation at #34 for his age group, which is an amazing achievement for someone so young.

In order to keep Ivry's achievements going on a championship level, we need financial support. He has the potential to reach grandmaster status in less than a year's time, but that can only be accomplished with financial help and support.  

What Do We Need the Money For?

1. Regisration fees for local and national tournaments including the highly prestigious Chess World Open

2. Travelling and hotel expenses

3. Memberships through the PA local and United States Chess Federation

4. Monthly classes and private group instruction

5. Weekly chess tutoring  

Why Should You Get Involved in Supporting Our Son's Chess Efforts?

We know you have many important causes for donating your hard-earned money. We can no longer support Ivry's chess efforts to the place where he needs to be. And yet, we don't want him to stop playing chess due to a lack of funding. We are at the point where we need to travel outside of our town, because Pittsburgh does not offer the high scholastic level in chess which our son needs.

Tournaments can be very expensive but they have been proven to stretch our son's achievement many times.   Ivry is a very gifted chess player, and to support his giftedness, we need financial help so he can maximize his full potential.  So you're investing in a child, who can impact many others with his chess abilities. With your donation, you will have helped a brilliant chess player reach even higher heights in the chess world. Like a ripple effect, good karma will always come back to you.
