Help Me Volunteer In Delhi!

Hi everyone!

 

I’m delighted to announce I have been accepted to participate in a teacher training workshop in India through Impact Teachers’ Beyond Educational Needs (B.E.N.) Movement.

 

As a volunteer with Impact Teachers, I will be dedicating a week of my term break to providing basic teaching skills’ training to teachers in impoverished Delhi schools and making a global difference in the education of thousands of children!

 

Throughout the week, I will be utilising Impact’s teacher training curriculum to lead 60 teachers through an intensive training workshop, as well as observing and mentoring teachers to improve their overall influence as educators.

 

Although Impact Teachers is generously paying all on-the-ground costs (transport, accommodation, meals and training materials), I am hoping to raise the funds to cover the costs of my flight, visa and vaccinations which total approximately £800.

 

If 80 of you donate as little as £10 each, you will help make this amazing opportunity a reality!

 

Every amount you donate goes toward helping me achieve my goal of training teachers in India and to better the education of students around the world.

Impact Teachers’ Beginnings

What began as a small business in 2005 with a big vision has grown into a successful social enterprise which focuses a percentage of its profits into its local and global projects through its Beyond Educational Needs (B.E.N.) Movement.  

 

What does Impact Teachers do?

Impact Teachers’ is a teacher recruitment company established for the purpose of impacting the quality of education locally and globally through its B.E.N. Movement which does so through the company’s three programmes: Teachers Impacting Teachers; Schools Impacting Schools; and Youth Impacting Youth.  

 

• Teachers Impacting Teachers focuses on recruiting highly qualified teachers from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and the UK to impact the education of students within the UK as well as taking trained teachers during term breaks to assist in the training of local Indian and Ugandan teachers who have been otherwise unable to access basic teachers training.  

 

• Schools Impacting Schools focuses on UK schools’ role in Impact Teachers’ vision to impact education locally and globally. We look for school support of our services in order to maintain our overseas projects with the understanding that their teachers additionally return from our trips with a rejuvenated sense of global learning.  

 

• Youth Impacting Youth focuses on re-engaging young people in education as well as increasing their overall global curiosity and knowledge.
