Help Grant

My son Grant has Cerebral Palsy.He is almost three and cannot sit, crawl, stand or walk. He says very very few words. We are in the process of trying to get him a communication device that goes off of his eye gaze. This device would give Grant his "voice" and making communicating with me, his dad, brother and everyone he loves so much easier.

Our insurance recently denied the claim to pay for the device so we are seeking help from family and friends. The device and everything he needs to go with it costs almost $18,000! We are paying for as much as possible but that is the cost of a good car. There is no way we can take on the entire amount.

Grant wants to bad to tell me what he wants for lunch, or to tell me what he wants to play with or when he wants to eat. I have yet to hear the word "Mom" or "I love you" (which he only says to his big brother). I would give everything for him to be able to call me whether it be with his mouth or with his "voice".
