My son, Demyan Shakirov, a one and a half year old boy from Zelenogorsk, Russia, is in the early stage of leukemia. The disease is curable; however, it requires an expensive surgery. My wife and I, making only $922 a month, cannot afford the surgery on our own. This is where fundraser 'Help Demyan' comes in. The surgery, which is planned to be done in Germany, costs $239 000. We have already started to search for sponsors in our hometown, and our eight-year-old daughter is currently being tested as a potential donor. Presently we have managed to collect $161,290. Everyday, the risk to lose my child forever widens. We need your help... Every donation counts.
