Heartworm Treatment for a Rescued Dog

Meet Annie.  Annie is a sweetheart of a dog, found darting in and out of traffic on a busy street.  She had no collar or tags, and was not microchipped.  A newspaper ad, radio ad, numerous Facebook posts, and community lost and found sites gave us zero leads as to her owners.  After exhausting all of our search options, we decided to work with our local animal shelter, and foster her while they tried to find her a forever home.  Unfortunately, a trip to the vet revealed a pretty severe case of heartworms.  She is unadoptable with heartworms, and the animal shelter has no funding to provide treatment, so their only option is to put her to sleep.  We are desperate to do what we can to save her, but the $600 treatment cost is daunting.  Please donate what you can to help give Annie a chance to get better, and find a permanent home.
