The video where the ashes are scattered off the pier are my Grandmas Ashes actually been scattered off the pier which is what inspired to write the film and Just need help to get it off the ground :)

May just gone I went to the cannes film festival and I found that it was a big eye opener. Not only you meet up with other  filmmakers you also meet people that are looking for feature films to distribute. Thats one of the aims with this film.

Every pledge would be credited in the film on imdb

Why £1000? It is what it would take to support the cast and crew to film it. For travelling to different locations and for filming and for the actors to pay their expenses. There will be only 2 of us filming in charge directign and filming and sound and of course lighting. We will be using two actors as the main charatcers. We are really passionate about this story I am all wound and ready to go.We just need the go ahead knowing that we can go and do it with confidence by having no draw backs because of funds. We have been constantly been going over the script and we just want to film it and see the film visually rather than just imagine it. It would be a piece of mind when its done:) Below is the real thing of my Grandma been released off Blackpool south pier. What is Grandma's Ashes Grandma’s Ashes. Essentially Grandma’s ashes is a black comedy with a feel-good motif running throughout. Focusing primarily on two hopeless BROTHERS, Bob and Dave are suddenly faced with the daunting prospect of accepting responsibility for once in their life. After attending the funeral of their Grandmother they have a conversation with her carer who not only hands them her ashes but also a list of last requests. Feeling a sense of duty based on their Grandmother bringing them up from a young age and more than a tongue lashing from the carer, they accept. On reading the list they are puzzled as to why all the tasks are to be completed in Blackpool culminating in the final act of scattering her ashes off Blackpool pier. The journey to Blackpool is punctuated by flashbacks as the brothers remember their Grandmother and this enables the viewer to understand not only the hapless brothers, but also the life of their Grandmother. Once in Blackpool (an area that neither of the brothers particularly like) they set about working through Grandmas list which includes taking her ashes to the top of the tower, going on every single ride on the Pleasure Beach and even go out for the night on the strip, all the time carrying Grandma’s ashes. The day is arduous for the brothers and they are more than relieved when they finish the list. Already not fans of Blackpool, they are now sick of the site of the town and can’t wait to leave. They just have one final task; scatter Grandma’s ashes off Blackpool pier. Bob and Dave open the urn and the ashes flow out over the sea and they then witness what can only be described as a miracle. The beach suddenly transforms into a hive of activity as families laugh and play together, friends chase each other in and out of the sea and the scene is one of general elation and happiness. The brothers had taken a pocket photo album from their Grandmas house Dave has not seen this photo and noticed that it was beginning to glow. On further investigation they notice the album is littered with images of Blackpool clearly taken during the second world war which displayed a haven of tranquillity and happiness. Even more poignant is the discovery that their Grandmother is in the pictures as a child enjoying candy floss holding hands with her father. Finally the penny drops and the boys understand how important Blackpool was to their grandmother and why she had created this journey for them to go on. In a story of self-realisation it’s the tragedy of their grandmothers death that makes them realise that there are more important things to life than their own existence.
