Going to College//ASPCA Donations

Hello everyone, my name is Allison, I graduated in 2012 from a High school in Maine. During my senior year, I thought I what I wanted to do with my life, but, as graduation neared, my thoughts of going to art school faltered. So, I cancelled all my arrangements and decided to take a year off. I'm so glad I did, because over the Summer I got an amusement park/zoo. I started with just the kiddy rides, and small things. Then one day I was asked to go over to the zoo to help with the Pony and Camel rides. I found my passion that day. I had always loved animals, but had forgotten it when I got into art. I asked after my shift to be moved over there and the start of next week I was working the Pony ride full time. It was hard work, but I loved it.

That little story brings me to the point of the fundraiser: My current goal is to go to college to major in Animal Sciences. Using that degree, I want to become a Zookeeper and eventually and Exotic Animal Trainer/Handler. But, as most of us know, college is expensive. I know my parents can not afford loan payments (they are still paying off my brothers) and I know I can't handle it on my own. That Summer job doesn't have the greatest pay, so most of my money will go towards gas money and medications. But, I need to have it and do a lot of volunteer work in order to have enough experience to get a job once I graduate.

In short, I'm asking you to help me out with the college debt I will be getting in a few months. Also, since I am an animal lover, I will donate 15% of whatever is raised to the ASPCA. How I will do this, since this is an ongoing fundraiser, is every 3 months, I will take whatever money has been donated in that span of time and donate 15% of it. I will also take screen shots of my donations to prove I am keeping my word :)

Also, once I graduate, I will bump up from 15% to 75%, eventually it will be raised to 100%, all donations going to help the ASPCA :)
