Greg Leone, with his larger than life personality, has maintained an active presence in the street racing community for the last 20 years. Some of his personal credits include his work with The Fast and the Furious, MTV's True Life Series, and the motion picture Streets of Legend. However, he doesn't live in his past sucess, but continually strives to push the envelope to create bigger, better, more efficient builds. His innovation and creativity inspire many and influence the lives of countless people all over the world.
In 2011, with the vision of creating a one-of-a-kind race car transport, Greg purchased a standard short bus and transformed it into an anything-but-ordinary, all purpose vehicle. Not only has he completely renovated the inside to haul his race car--custom building the structures the car sits on, welding the aluminum cabinetry, and adding functional weight bearing tracks--but he has also created a comfortable socializing environment equipped with couches, sound system, and HD tvs for patrons to enjoy while at events.
It's been three years since Greg bought his bus (named Pepper), and though he's done so much, she is far from finished. It's time to give Pepper a Push! As an artist, it's important to Greg that Pepper's function matches her form. Some of his plans include:
- Adding an airbag suspension system to ease loading and unloading cars
- Equipping her with a generator so that she'll support all that he does
- Adding amenities to support sustainable road travel
- Creating a fully functional foldout work station so he can work on his own projects as well as help others with theirs, while on the road
Recently, Pepper experienced catastrophic engine failure, which has been a major setback for the progression of the bus. The cost of the new engine alone runs between $6 and $7k. As a member of a community that supports innovation, creativity, and the art behind building great vehicles, I'm asking you to help Greg reach his vision for the bus.
Please take the time to donate, share the link, and be a part of one of Greg Leone's greatest builds! As a thank you for your support, Greg plans to add what he calls out "Shout Out Plaque" to the bus so that recognition of your help can be seen wherever Pepper takes him.
