Get her off the streets

When I go to work I usually take the bus at Kings Cross St. Pancras Station and I see her sitting against the wall everytime. A woman, 52, looking for a chance. One day I had a walk in the evening when it was cold and I saw her again-sitting there waiting for someone to pass by to drop a few coins. She was covered in an old blanket, had a thin jacket on and was smoking her last cigarette. I thought a tea might be helpful to warm her up as we had only 3 degrees. So I went to McDonalds to ask for a large cup of tea for £1,09. I brought it to her and she gave me the biggest smile. I sat down with her to have a chat. She told that she became homeless because she couldnt afford a place to stay anymore as her wages went down. She is a 52 year old lady who did not lose her hopes yet. She told me that she is waiting for a chance. Waiting for a job offer or a place to stay.  I asked her if she has any family or friends and she answered no. She said "You dont have friends when you are in a situation like this." I offered her to be my friend. I will go and check on her. Everytime when I have a spare minute-to bring her a tea for £1,09.   I want to help her. I want to bring her some good news one day not just a tea.   If everyone would give only £1 we could possibly organise her a place to stay where she could start all over again. Please donate to help.
