EDHS 1987: Fill Our Shelves Placerville Library

The Friends of the Library, Placerville Chapter of the El Dorado County Library, is holding a fundraising campaign called "Fill Our Shelves" to raise funds to purchase much-needed books and other materials. I am hoping the El Dorado High School (Placerville, CA) Class of 1987 can come together to sponsor a shelf in the Children's Library for one year with a collective donation of $250.00. (This site charges a 4% fee, which I will cover if we reach our goal. If we fail to reach our goal, I will return your donations.)

I am hoping to raise the funds by year-end, or 12/31/2014, as a holiday gift to the children of the town that sponsored so many of our own dreams. Our $250.00 donation will sponsor a shelf in the Children's Library, and I will send in a check on behalf of "The El Dorado High School Class of 1987", which will also be shown on the engraved plaque attached to the shelf we will sponsor. I realize it's the holiday season and so many of us are stretched thin as it is with gifts, travel, and other charitable committments, so I am requesting a donation of $5 or $10 dollars. However anything you can contribute will be much appreciated!
