About This Project
In the 12~13 years that I have lived in Korea, I have rescued many cats and dogs from the infamous Moran "meat markets" and nurtured them, paid their vet bills and gotten them into good households.
I am a lone rescuer who rescues one cat or one dog at a time, and have for the past 12 years used my own money from my own monthly salary (which is just a meager teachers salary). I have been doing the best I can, under the circumstances... to rescue cats and dogs from the Korean meat markets, one at a time.
I am now finding it very difficult to afford any more to continue paying all the vet bills, transport bills, and medicine and food that the cats and dogs need. Now, I need YOUR help.
In South Korea, nearly two million dogs are being slaughtered each year. Thousands of cats are killed too. It’s all part of that country’s sordid, sinister dog and cat meat industry. And the driving force behind this cruel commerce will make your blood boil ...

It is also my dream to see the cats and dogs rescued from Korean slaughterhouses to be adopted out worldwide and transported out of Korea as living symbols - the embodiment of what is possible. I believe they should never have been in Korea in the first place.
