Hi all!

So the big 3-0 is finally here.  In order to celebrate I will be traveling the entire month of August! My Journey includes 2 weddings, a family reunion and 3 birthdays on 2 continents.  The itnerary is below, but in breif it looks like this: 

WDC- Geneva/Montreaux Switerland - La Rochelle, France - Sao Paolo, Salvador and Rio de Janerio Brazil - WDC

WHAT:  Over the past month or so, I have had a number of people ask what I want for my birthday.  I feel weird asking for money, so instead, I would love for you to donate to one of the many hostels, hotels, buses, trains and tours for my trip.  

If you would like, you can contribute for a specific item listed below or for general use.  General use contributions will be used according to necessity- starting with lodging and transportation and then distributed to tours, food and lastly entertainment.

 I am turning 30, so how about $30?  But of course, you can support with as little as $1 or as much as you feel comfortable with.  In return you will also be rewarded!

• Aug. 2: Fly from WDC to Geneva
• Aug. 3: Arrive in Geneva
• Aug. 4: Make the short journey to Montreaux for Angela and Andrew's wedding
• Aug. 5-8: Wedding festivities and Nafisa's Birthday Party
• Aug. 9-14: La Rochelle for family reunion, Carl's Birthday, AG's Birthday and family visits
• Aug. 15: Train to Paris for flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil
• Aug.16: Arrive in Brazil and meet up with Carole!
• Aug. 17: Visit Sao Paulo
• Aug. 18: Paratay for a full day of exploration and an overnight
• Aug. 19-22: Angra de Rios
• Aug. 23-29: Salvador de Bahia
• Aug. 30-31: Rio de Janeiro
• Sept. 1: Sergio and Vanessa's Wedding
• Sept. 2: final day in Brazil
• Sept. 3-4: Return to Washington DC
