We started New Life Purpose Ministries in 2013 with little to no experience in educating, nor very little resources to support those suffering from the overwhelming effects of substance abuse and mental health disorders... Yet there was something that we did have, a real desire and eagerness to provide hope for individuals much like ourselves that understood these conditions. It didn't happen over night, but we are now realizing our dream; from the streets of Charlotte NC and surrounding counties people much like ourselves are looking for a solution to their problems. "We have helped countless individuals in their quest for recovery, yet we have little to no financial support," states Pastor Ricou L Williams Senior Director and Founder of New Life Purpose Ministries/Take 2 Enhancement Programs. A 6 to 18 mo. transitional program for men and women suffering from many issues relating to these conditions... So how did we go from where we were, to where we are today? By providing therapeutic programs and tools we feel are essential for successful living! Our wide range of recovery related programs include: * Spiritual Enhancement, * Interpersonal Relations and Identifying with Core Issues, * Vocational Training and assistance with Underlying Issues, * Spiritual Enhancement and activities for individuals suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, * Children and Family Programs. In the future: We have just been placed on the list to receive housing through Wells Fargo CUSP Program (Community Urban Stabilization Program). This program is designed to assist non-profit agencies with donated properties that will assist individuals suffering from these conditions with no place to go. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Our needs far exceeds our resources, by donating to this organization you will not only be providing these individuals with the hope of a New Life and Purpose but you will also be providing countless others with opportunity to enhance in their recovery process! Our goal is to reach $10,000.00 to enhance this years budget to provide food, shelter, clothing, transportation, medical assistance and so much more... These individuals come from all walks of life and are referred by many sources including, family members, friends, former graduates, other treatment programs, the judicial system, probation and parole. However they have two things in common, the knowledge of knowing that they can no longer continue to go on living as they have in the past and the desire to get help. the journey to recovery starts with the FIRST STEP and we are dedicated to help...We thank you for donating your funds to assist with individuals in recovery. These individuals receive an enormous amount of support which is all made possible by your tax deductible donations.
