Mauricio Milne-Jones

For those who don't know, Mauricio Milne-Jones and his family (Beatriz, Andre, Bruno and Kaio) have been enduring the long process of constantly going in and out of hospitals and clinics, experiencing what it is like to go through cancer treatment. It is surprising to hear how many MRIs, CT scans, "chemo" treatment, blood tests and operations Mauricio has faced.

Since the discovery on Boxing day 2014, the difficulties of balancing finances and coping with an uncertain future have been extremely challenging. When I put myself in their shoes and thought of all the hardship and stress that they have to go through, I decided it was time to get a group together and give a helping hand to this great family. Money will not solve all the problems, but it will certainly help reduce the anxiety around all the medical costs.

While we can work to pay our bills, the main income for this family was derived from Mauricio's employment, but now he is limited by the pain and sickness of this disease.
