Campaign Story
July 21st my dad and his beloved yorkie Will were taking a walk and a pit bull who had gotten loose attacked them.... my dad tried his best to protect Will and he was injured and taken by ambulance to HCMC where he was treated for his injuries, but sadly Will did not survive the attack,,,
Our hearts are broken, we are so sad for the loss of Will and that my dad and his wife Connie are going through this and we are praying they recover from this loss:) The pit bull, who had attacked three other dogs, has been euthanized. In trying to make any sense of this, I have to believe it happened to save another little kid or someone else from being attacked, so they are heroes. God bless them and please join me in praying for peace and recovery.

Update posted by Cheryl Wahlin at 02:43 amThis morning we had the honor of meeting the 9 year old boy Marshall and the construction worker Derrick who saved my dad's life from the pit bull attack and their families... our time together was so special, there are no words to describe our gratitude for what these two. . . . .
July 27th Update

Galen's physical wounds are healing ok, but he seems to still be in shock over the attack and loss of Will. We are still praying there is no infection in his finger
