Campaign Story
This is a campaign for my sister in law Caroline. She is a young woman who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has been having chemo for 9 months now and it is wearing her down not only the constant pain and tiredness but also emotionally.
She and her husband Martin have a little boy who is 3 1/2 years old. He doesn't understand that Mummy isn't well. He is like all little boys , fun loving and energetic and he needs his mum.
The Royal Marsden have suggested she might be suitable for a treatment called "nano knife" which if successful could save her life. However as it is a new treatment it is not available on the NHS and there are no clinical trials open for this at the moment.
I would like to raise the monies to pay for this treatment and give Caroline the best chance of seeing her son grow up. After all that's all parents want and so easily we take it for granted.
Please find it in your hearts to help by donating whatever you can afford and let's see if we can raise enought to get the surgery.
Thank you from all of us

Email I received from a person I work with called Des Cotter: I’m obviously very sad to read of what’s now happened. I won’t be seeking the money back and it’s a good decision to place in a Trust for Caroline’s son. Please pass on my condolences to everyone involved. Take care Des
