Help to start a new chapter in life

To our dear friends - old, new and undiscovered

Although this seems a strange way to get back on track in life, it really is one of our last options that we are hoping can prove to be a leap of faith that helps our situation.

My husband (James) and I have just found out we are pregnant. However, we are not in a position to financially support a child right now. This is devastating to me. I am 35 years old and would love nothing more than to have a baby join our family.

Our main concern is mounting credit card debt which is making it impossible to make ends meet. We do not want to enter the bankruptcy cycle which would ruin our credit rating for the future and ever buying a home.

It seems so silly that I know there are hundreds of thousands of women who can't have children, yet they have above and beyond the means to support a child financially, paying thousands for the opportunity at IVF. Here I am on the opposite side of the scale - pregnant but struggling financially.

I thought if I was able to raise money - any amount - it will open up other options to us.
