Help me to help the children of Vietnam!

Hi There!

I am travelling to Hanoi- Vietnam June 2015 to volunteer in a school teaching children English.

From a young age i have always wanted to make a real difference to underprivileged young people’s lives and have been passionate about helping/teaching others. I believe education is something that everybody deserves.

The school i will be volunteering at is a secondary school (11-18 year olds) that has over 2000 students. English language skills are of growing importance at the school as previously agriculture was the main source of income for families but this sectors growth has fallen and international commercial trade especially in Hanoi is rapidly increasing, this economic shift has created a greater demand for a skilled, multilingual labour force with English being the main language.

I will spend 4 weeks teaching at this school and during my time will also be contributing in holiday camps and community groups/support groups such as an orphanage and teaching/caring for disabled young adults and children.
