Diagnosed with leukaemia one week before her 3rd birthday, my beautiful niece, Chelsea Douthwaite was diagnosed with leukaemia. The prognosis - thankfully - is good, but the treatment is physically and emotionally gruelling for Chelsea, my brother Simon, his wife Angie, and her older sister, Sophie. On top of coping with this strain, they face medical bills of £40,000, on top of insurance: there is no NHS in Malaysia, where they live.
On 15th August, accompanied by some AMAZING friends, I'll be abseiling a mere 417 feet off the Northampton Lift Tower. I'm terrified of heights, but if Chelsea can cope so amazingly with all those injections, then I can do this.
