- im wanting to open a year round homeless shelter. El Dorado county does not have a homeless shelter. They had a program called united outreach which provide transitional housing for up to 4 months and they offered a vulture incentive program which provided weekly food vultures up to 30 days at a local motel weekly meetings to set goals and how to achieve them the phone number for that program is no longer in service and the email address is no longer valid they have a homeless house for pregnant women they have housing for homeless woman with children they have housing for recovering drug addicts and alcoholics but what about the general public nothing so i want to change that but I need ur help
