Hi, my wife and the mother of my two sweet, little girls was just diagnosed with beginning stage 3 colorectal cancer.  She will have 6 weeks of chemo /radiation with an hour drive back and forth from the hospital, followed by surgery and months of more chemo. We are hopeful that it is curable and she will be by my side as we raise our children and grow old together.  She is only 36 and she is a strong, positive, generous person, with the kindest heart. She adores our two little girls who are 2 and 5 years old.  I work three jobs and I am an elementary school educator and high school tutor. My wife is also an elementary educator but currently is grateful to be a stay at home mom. I know that we are incredibly fortunate to have our wonderful little girls and such terrific family and friends. Life has just thrown us a curve ball and in order for her to fully focus on fighting this, it's important that she doesn't have to worry about the many new financial burdens that come with this diagnosis.  One of our two, older vehicles is no longer drivable and the added medical expenses have made buying necessities and paying bills difficult. We have always been able to support our young family on our own and making the decision to ask for help was difficult. However, at this time we are asking for your support. We know that we are lucky to have so many blessings in our lives and when this is over, we will look forward to paying it forward in any ways that we can. Any support, no matter how small, will be incredibly appreciated and we will be forever grateful.
